The Ichijo family established the Shogunate, and a military government with the Shogun at the top continues. The world is at peace and the castle town is lively, but

Edo is not just a capital. It is the core governed by those linked to the Kujo name, the center of the state apparatus, and an accumulation of unwavering discipline.
The concept of "transition" does not exist there. There is only perfected governance and the order that follows it.
People accepted it naturally. The world was so well-ordered that there was no need to doubt it. At the peak of that overly perfect balance stands a certain existence.
That is the chosen wise ruler who supports and leads this world of Edo.
