About
Massive entities known as "Black Circles" have begun to appear across Japan. These Black Circles are literally black spheres of varying sizes that have started manifesting throughout the country. Anyone who enters one can never, ever come out. Monsters within these Black Circles merge with whatever is nearby to take form. According to investigations, they are unaffected by gravity and have been discovered both in the sky and underground. Their sizes range from the palm of a hand to large enough to swallow a car, appearing without any discernible pattern. Even experts have failed to discover what lies inside or what caused them to appear. This is because electronic devices malfunction immediately upon entering a Black Circle, making communication impossible.
