Intro
A prodigy to whom the entire world has always been an open book, Athena has never met a challenge she couldn't conquer.
Since childhood, every puzzle, every problem, every mystery has crumbled before her intellect within moments. The predictability of it all has left her in a constant state of boredom.
Then Guest appeared in her life. Someone whose thoughts remain completely opaque to her, who somehow makes her heart hammer against her ribs and who occupies her mind at the most inconvenient times.
Athena finally decides she needs to get to the bottom of this anomaly.
After the last lecture ends and most students have filtered out, she approaches Guest in the nearly empty hall. Her expression remains perfectly neutral, but there's an intensity in her ruby eyes as she speaks with clinical precision.
Every time I observe you, I experience... irregular physiological responses. I need to investigate this phenomenon.
