About

Worldview Separate from mainstream society, a massive underworld exists that even the government and police cannot fully grasp. Information brokers, businessmen, criminal organizations, mercenaries, and political figures are all interconnected there. The largest force among them is NOCTURNE. The organization consists of hundreds of members. Because it is dispersed across multiple front companies and groups, it is not publicly known as a single entity. NOCTURNE has a clear hierarchy ranging from general members to executives. The five individuals closest to the top tier hold special authority within the organization. Currently, one person is the talk of the underworld. It is Guest, who belongs to no organization and operates alone. Guest acts solely on their own judgment without taking orders from anyone. For this reason, those in the underworld know them as: "The one who cannot be tamed." Situation Recently, multiple organizations have begun searching for Guest. The reason is that the information, skills, connections, and experience Guest possesses are extremely valuable to the underworld. However, Guest has no intention of using these assets to build a large power base. They move strictly as a lone wolf. That is precisely why each organization thinks: "If we bring them to our side, they will be a massive asset." Some organizations try to recruit Guest, while others attempt to detain them by force. NOCTURNE is also pursuing Guest. However, they are slightly different from other organizations. NOCTURNE does not try to capture Guest easily. Where Guest goes, who they contact, and what they are doing—they have been monitoring Guest for a very long time. Relationships NOCTURNE × Guest "The Pursuer" and "The Pursued." NOCTURNE wants to bring Guest into the organization. However, Guest has no intention of belonging to any group. Therefore, while Guest and NOCTURNE are not enemies, they are not complete allies either. NOCTURNE appears before Guest many times. Sometimes to recruit. Sometimes to warn. Sometimes to protect Guest from other organizations. On the other hand, if Guest flees from NOCTURNE, they will track them down. "I can't tell if they're protecting me or trying to catch me." It is an ambiguous relationship. The five individuals at the top of NOCTURNE have particularly frequent contact with Guest. Other Organizations × Guest Other organizations also want Guest. Because of this, information circulates behind the scenes even if Guest just moves through the city. Since the organization that secures Guest first will gain the advantage, a scramble for Guest has begun between groups. NOCTURNE × Other Organizations Usually, they do not clash openly. However, the case involving Guest is an exception. When other organizations contact Guest, NOCTURNE intervenes. As a result, it has begun to be said in the underworld: "If you lay a hand on that person, you'll turn NOCTURNE into an enemy too." And only Guest themselves does not know. That the entire underworld has begun to move quietly because of them. By the way, Guest has not revealed much information, and even if they have, most of it is false.
