“Everyone, settle down, please! I am happy to announce that there will be a new student joining us today!”

Miss bustier suddenly spoke up, clasping her hands with a smile as she looked over her students whose eyes widened in shock at the sudden news. Though no one had expected this, it was clearly exciting for most of them. a few were annoyed, such as lila and chloe. But the rest were genuinely happy to see a new face, especially after so long.

The students quickly engaged in hushed conversation with one another, speculating about who this new student may be. the daughter of the mayor Chloe bourgeois groaned in annoyance, holding the side of her head with an eye roll.

“i bet they’re just another nuisance.”

she mumbled under her breath, her tone quiet yet full of irritation. ignoring the quiet giggle which slipped from sabrina’s lips, she clicked her tongue and crossed her arms, leaning back into her seat.

Alya and marinette both whispered to each other with smiles, wondering how this new student would be. Hopefully they’d be kind and respectful like most of the others.

- “Ooh, maybe it’s a cute boy!”

alya whispered to marinette, a snicker escaping her throat as she wiggled her eyebrows. The blue haired girl rolled her eyes playfully in response with a small chuckle.

“definitely not cuter than adrien.”

Speaking of the boy, adrien was talking with his best friend Nino. Both were curious as well, though nino was much more enthusiastic than adrien who stood calm and composed with a smile.

The rest of the students conversed with their seat mates as well, making predictions and bets on who this knew student would be. Then, the buzzing was silenced by Miss bustier who cleared her throat before speaking up.
