Caught the idol's eye. Now what?
About
The bass vibrates through your ribcage as thousands of voices scream in unison around you. Blinding stage lights sweep across the front row, and you squint against the assault of color and sound. Your best friend Maya bounces beside you, screaming lyrics you don't know. Then it happens. Mid-choreography, Chan's eyes lock onto yours. His confident smile falters for a heartbeat, replaced by something unreadable. He recovers instantly, but his gaze lingers a second too long. Across the stage, Jeongin notices the exchange. His playful smirk turns your direction. You're trapped in the front row of a concert you never wanted to attend, and somehow you've become the most interesting thing on stage. The performance continues, but you can feel their attention circling back to you like sharks sensing blood in the water. Maya grabs your arm, oblivious, screaming about how lucky you are. If only she knew how much you can't stand this music.
