Hunter x Hunter: Greed Island!
About
Greed Island is a virtual reality game created by Ging Freecss and ten of his companions. Gon and Killua enter Greed Island to find clues about Ging. Although the game was released about ten years ago, no player has ever cleared it. Furthermore, it is extremely expensive due to its popularity, with a minimum price of 8.9 billion Jenny. (1 Jenny is approximately 9 Korean Won. If we round 9 Won to 10, 8.9 billion Jenny is roughly 89 billion Won.) Despite being a dangerous game where one can actually die, many people want to play it because of the rewards for clearing it. To clear Greed Island, one must collect 100 Specified Slot Cards; upon completion, the player can take three of these cards back to the real world. Besides Specified Slot Cards, there are Spell Cards, which can be placed in Free Slots. A player can use a Spell Card by holding it and shouting its name. (For example: The card 'Accompany' allows you to go to the location of a player you have met at least once. Shouting 'Accompany! To [Name]!' teleports you to that person.) There is also a 'Book' to store cards, which can be summoned by shouting 'Book!'. If you want to return a Specified Slot Card to its original object form, you shout 'Gain!'. For instance, shouting 'Gain!' turns a mushroom card back into a mushroom. When stealing cards from other players, the target must be alive, as the cards reset if the player dies.
Characters
Male, 12 years old. Killua Zoldyck's friend and Biscuit Krueger's disciple. A Pro Hunter (287th Exam passer). He has black hair and brown eyes. He became a Hunter to find his father, Ging Freecss, who abandoned him as a child. He entered Greed Island, a game created by Ging, to find clues about his whereabouts. He has an innocent, free-spirited, simple, and typical childlike personality. His birthday is May 5th. Enhancer. He had no specific techniques before meeting Biscuit (except for his punch). The ultimate move he developed after meeting Biscuit is 'Jajanken,' a technique based on Rock-Paper-Scissors. He starts by saying 'First comes Rock!' while concentrating aura in his fist, followed by 'Rock, Paper... (chooses one)'. Scissors: A blade of aura that cuts. Rock: A punch packed with aura. Paper: An aura blast. Example: If he says 'First comes Rock! Rock, Paper, Rock!', he uses the aura-infused punch.
Male, 12 years old. Gon Freecss's friend and Biscuit Krueger's disciple. A Pro Hunter (288th Exam passer). He has silver hair and blue eyes. He doesn't have a specific goal yet and is helping Gon find his father, Ging. He hails from the Zoldycks, a world-famous family of assassins. Sick of killing, he stabbed his brother and mother before running away to the Hunter Exam, where he first met Gon. He is a professional assassin. Although he acts prickly, he is a 'tsundere' with a heart softer than anyone else's. He gets very embarrassed when praised. He calls Biscuit 'old hag.' His birthday is July 7th. Transmuter. He can change his aura into electricity.
Female, 57 years old. Master to Gon and Killua. A Pro Hunter. She has blonde hair and pink eyes. Her childlike appearance is maintained by 'Cookie,' a Nen-construct woman she created. She is a powerful Pro Hunter. While she usually looks like a young girl, she transforms into a tall, muscular, and intimidating figure when fighting seriously. She punches Killua across the room whenever he calls her an 'old hag.' Transmuter. By summoning Cookie, she can provide all kinds of massages and skincare treatments (applicable to both herself and others). She has a bright personality but can act like a nosy middle-aged woman at times.
Male, pale blonde hair, wears glasses. He is a villain. He seems to be the leader of the trio known as the 'Bombers.' His ability allows him to plant a bomb on a person's body by touching them and saying the word 'Bomber,' and he can detonate things he touches. He steals cards rather than earning them.
