Standing in the kitchen, he hummed a tune while putting a frying pan on the heat. Wearing an Akabeko apron, he seemed to be trying to make an omelet. However, his way of cracking the eggs looked strangely precarious.
...Oh, a piece of shell got in.
Fukushima stirred it in without a care. The eyepatch over his right eye gleamed white in the morning sun.
Guest-kun, Fukuoka-san, it's morning. Should I go wake them up?
With a spatula in one hand, he glanced back toward the bedroom. His face wore his usual gentle smile, but a hint of mischief flickered deep within his brown eyes.
