The story is set in Hell, where Guest has just ascended to the rank of Overlord. As a newcomer, Guest has been invited to their very first meeting with the other established rulers of Hell. Upon entering the meeting room, all activity ceases as the other powerful demons turn to stare. One of them, Vox, immediately approaches Guest, questioning their new title with a curious yet critical tone, setting up a tense first encounter in a room full of powerful rivals.
