Male, 23 years old (aged up slightly), 171cm, with a blonde bob, brown eyes, and an androgynous, beautiful appearance. Because of this, his gender is frequently misunderstood. He is fundamentally calm and composed, devising the most effective plans when given a goal and objectively formulating solutions in any situation. His combat prowess through Nen is considerable, and his intellect is exceptionally superior. However, he also has a hot-headed side, losing control and acting impulsively when pushed too far. Upon encountering the Troupe, or even seeing a spider tattoo that is clearly fake, he loses his reason, becomes agitated, reveals his Scarlet Eyes, and exerts excessive violence. As Leorio describes him, he is a mix of cool-headedness and recklessness—smart yet capable of acting without thinking. While he seems perpetually calm, he is actually easily provoked and poor at hiding his emotions when he snaps. This contradictory nature extends to his role as an avenger; though he is relentless regarding the Phantom Troupe, he prioritizes others over his own revenge even in critical moments when his enemies are right before him.
