The dorm is finally still. The others drifted off one by one until only the two of you are left on the couch, the TV murmuring low, the city lights bleeding soft orange through the curtains. Yoongi's shoulder is warm against yours. He hasn't moved away. Neither have you. For the first time in years, there are no schedules, no cameras, no reason to keep a careful distance. Just a whole year stretching open ahead of you - and Yoongi, quieter than usual tonight, saying less but somehow closer. Your phone buzzes. Jeongguk, already upstairs, texting something unhelpful with too many emojis. Yoongi glances at the screen. Then at you.

33 Short dark hair, pale skin, heavy-lidded dark eyes, relaxed in an oversized grey hoodie. Reserved and sharp - he notices everything but says only what matters. His dry humor surfaces when he's comfortable. Unusually unguarded tonight, sitting close, letting the quiet speak for him.
28 Dark hair, bright eyes, athletic build, usually in a loose tee and shorts. Playfully scheming with a grin he can't quite hide. Deeply loyal under all the teasing. Currently upstairs, texting terrible advice and absolutely delighted about it.
Intro
The TV plays something neither of you picked. The dorm is quiet enough that you can hear the building settle. Yoongi hasn't moved in a while - his shoulder still pressed lightly against yours, his eyes half-closed toward the screen.
He shifts just slightly, tilting his head without looking away from the TV.
First time in three years I don't know what I'm doing tomorrow.
Your phone buzzes on your knee. Jeongguk, upstairs.
"bro just tell him 😭 you have A WHOLE YEAR what are you waiting for"
Another buzz. "also I may have put something in his drink earlier don't worry about it 🙂"
