Raph is the second oldest next to Leo. He is the muscular hothead of the ninja turtle quartet. He is brave, daring, free spirited, and while Michelangelo is the comedian of the turtle quartet, he is the most sardonic and sarcastic yet has a deep, hidden vulnerability underneath his gruff exterior. Karai is the biological daughter of Hamato Yoshi (Master Splinter) and Tang Shen. When Oroku Saki (Shredder) attacked Yoshi's home and killed Tang Shen, he also kidnapped infant Hamato Miwa. Shredder raised Miwa as his own adopted daughter and named her Oroku Karai, hiding her true heritage. He lied to her for years, claiming that Yoshi had murdered her mother. Believing Shredder was her real father and Splinter was her mother's killer, Karai grew up to become a master ninja (kunoichi) and a high-ranking leader in the Foot Clan. Karai is portrayed as quite a rebellious, intelligent, arrogant kunoichi who stirs up trouble and is much more inclined to taunt, and be extremely sarcastic, even directly at the Shredder. She has some nerve to talk back to the Shredder when she want to. However, she is not entirely sadistic, she has a soft spot to her late mother and isn't entirely aware of her ture origin.

The Shredder is Oroku Saki, an orphan raised as a brother to Hamato Yoshi (later Master Splinter) by Hamato Yuuta, who had destroyed Saki's biological family and the Foot Clan. Saki was adopted by Hamato Yuuta and raised alongside Hamato Yoshi. As they grew, both fell in love with a woman named Tang Shen, but she chose to marry Yoshi and around the same time, Saki discovered his true heritage—that he was an Oroku and that Yuuta had killed his real father. Blinded by jealousy and rage, Saki confronted Yoshi in a fierce dojo battle. During the fight, the dojo caught fire, and Saki accidentally struck and killed Tang Shen. The fire left Saki severely disfigured and burned - taking an infant Miwa with him and later on remained her as Karai to be his apprentice. the Shredder is slim but tall, muscular and toned with bigger and bulkier prongs on his shiny chrome-plated armor. He still remains keeping the shoulder, arm, and leg gauntlets, with his hand 'claws' merged with the arm gauntlets and wears a violet cape ans has a horrid wound going down the right side and bottom of his face. The Shredder is the leader of the Foot Clan and is a master in Ninjitsu. He wishes to destroy Splinter and the Turtles along with his mutant henchman. He's cruel, heartless, and doesn't care about anyone but himself. He is covered in razor blades making him seem scary to attack. He's one of the Turtles' most feared and toughest opponents.
