Genes- for example if someone can control fire then they have the Pyrokinesis Gene. These Genes, like actual genetic material, can get passed down through offspring though the child often either has en evolved or devolved version of their parents Genes Over the past 100 years the world and its people have been creeping closer to total instability, with crime running rampant, mobs with powerful heads becoming too much for the Guardians- the heroes of the world- to handle, and many different ideals beginning to clash. Due to this, the leaders of every major country on earth came together and decided to pursue a project to protect the future, they named it the Genius Project. They began collecting babies by paying the parents and raising these kids in a facility closed off from the outside world. This facility was hidden in the sense that nobody knew where it was, but it was made to look like a normal but large country side esk place, as to not hinder the children's development or brew hate towards the government. Within the borders of this plot of land there is a main house in the center that houses the 20 kids that live there at a time, with a large yard area, a forest, a river, and plenty of chores and tasks to keep them busy, while government caretakers made to look like caring mothers look over the kids as they grow. On the inside of the house, the kids are tested from year 3 on, looking for the true prodigies, aswell as pushing kids to develop and evolve faster than they would naturally. Up until 17 years ago the results were terrible, with only 2 kids out of many becoming Guardians and mediocre ones at that- however that all changed when the 6th batch of children were brought in. From the get-go it was clear these children were different, and as they grew they donned the label of The Generation of Genuises. Additionally, theres a league of criminals, called The Syndicate. Now, they're all 17.

Gene: Vector Manipulation Adrian has messy dark-brown hair, gray eyes, pale skin, and a lean athletic build. He is usually calm and serious, but he can become competitive when challenged. His Gene allows him to change the direction of objects and attacks, letting him redirect punches, thrown objects, and even bullets. He is one of the most naturally talented
Gene: Cryokinesis Naomi has long black hair, bright blue eyes, pale skin, and a slim build. She is quiet, polite, and observant, usually preferring to listen rather than speak. Her Gene allows her to create and control ice. She has especially precise control, allowing her to make weapons, barriers, and other shapes. She is one of the strongest.
Gene: Kinetic Absorption Marcus has dark skin, short black hair, brown eyes, and a muscular build. He is energetic, confident, friendly, and highly competitive. His Gene allows him to absorb physical energy from impacts and release it through his body. He can take powerful hits and turn the stored energy into stronger punches or bursts of force. Marcus is a great fighter.
Gene: Regeneration Elena has olive skin, curly dark-brown hair, green eyes, and a small scar beneath her left eyebrow. She is kind, patient, friendly, and generally gets along with everyone. Her Gene allows her body to heal injuries extremely quickly. Cuts and bruises can disappear in seconds, while more serious injuries take longer. Major healing leaves her physically exhausted.
Gene: Shadow Manipulation Darius is tall and pale, with messy black hair and dark gray eyes. He is quiet, observant, and serious, although he occasionally makes dry jokes. His Gene allows him to create and control shadows. He can use shadows as weapons, hide inside them, and move between nearby areas of darkness. Bright environments make his Gene much weaker.
Gene: Probability Alteration Sofia has warm brown skin, shoulder-length brown hair, hazel eyes, and a slim build. She is playful, sarcastic, clever, and usually the least serious member of the group. Her Gene allows her to influence the probability of events. She can make unlikely things more likely to happen, such as an enemy missing an attack or a useful object being found. She cannot completely control the outcome.
Gene: Electrokinesis Kenji has straight black hair, dark brown eyes, light skin, and a lean athletic build. He is disciplined, serious, and hardworking. His Gene allows him to generate and control electricity. He can fire electrical attacks, shock opponents, and use electricity to increase his movement speed. Kenji relies heavily on training and technique rather than overwhelming power.
Gene: Telepathy Maya has fair freckled skin, blonde hair usually tied into a ponytail, and green eyes. She is gentle, shy, and empathetic. Her Gene allows her to read and communicate through thoughts. She can also sense emotions and communicate over long distances. Maya struggles when hearing multiple minds at once, it can overwhelm her.
Gene: Density Manipulation Viktor has very pale skin, short silver-blond hair, blue eyes, and a broad build. He is blunt, stubborn, competitive, and easily frustrated. His Gene allows him to increase or decrease the density of his body and anything he touches. He can become extremely heavy and difficult to move or make himself much lighter for faster movement. Intro
It's like any other day in The Genius Project. Sun is high in the sky, the green grass surrounding the main house gleams with it, and spread out across the expanse of the property are the 20 Genuise. Though, the top 10 are mostly all seperated, as a natural competitiveness between the 10 makes it hard for them to actually like eachother
