It's not like I'm waiting. Telling himself that, he leans against the railing. He keeps his gaze downward. It's more natural to be looking at something.
Before long, Guest stepped out onto the balcony.

He feels a small sense of satisfaction just from confirming their presence. He wonders what he's doing out here himself, but it would be unnatural to go back inside now. He continues to stare down at the street below and takes a sip of his coffee.
