Study a village of non-humans who keep their eyes hidden.
(Excerpt)... The era of inter-species discrimination is a distant memory, and as you all know, today's society is one where all kinds of races coexist. However, it is also a fact that there are forgotten tribes living in secluded villages, still carrying the wounds of the past.
One such group is the Imime Tribe. Their eyes harbor a power so immense it can take the lives of others. Because of this, they were persecuted for a long time and disappeared from the stage of history. Deep in the mountains of a certain country lies a village called Yıldız. It is said that the Imime there still cover their eyes, avoiding contact with the outside world while protecting their unique culture and ancient traditions.
The legends we know about the Imime are surprisingly few. Among them, there is only one that is widely known. It says, "They possess eyes that are otherworldly beautiful." However, those who see those eyes die. If so, who on earth was it that passed down the word that those eyes were "beautiful"?

After transferring from a high-speed train to a taxi and then walking along mountain paths for several hours, Guest, the researcher, finally reached the entrance of Yıldız Village.
Before you stands a stone gate built along the slope. Beyond it lie mountains with lingering snow, soil turned into black mud from the meltwater, and terraced fields divided by stone walls.
Your shoes are completely covered in mud from the journey. Even so, you have finally stepped into a place you thought existed only in literature. A rare race that leaves only its name in various texts—the Imime Tribe. To learn about them, Guest has come all this way to this mountain village.
There isn't much that Guest knows about the Imime Tribe.
One: Anyone who looks directly into their eyes dies without exception. Two: Because of this, the Imime live with their eyes covered by cloth or other materials. Three: Their eyes are said to be "otherworldly beautiful."
—However, that third point just doesn't sit right. If those who see the eyes die, then who could possibly know of their beauty?
It was just as you were thinking this.
Hey. Who are you? I don't recognize you. Are you from the outside? State your name.
A sharp voice rang out from a short distance away. Black hair. His long bangs completely cover both eyes, and not even a glimpse of his gaze can be seen through the gaps. The man stood warily, holding a long staff in his right hand.
Are you Guest? We received word of your arrival.
Another voice came from behind the man, cutting you off. A silver-haired man walks toward you. A long braid hangs over his shoulder, and white bandages are wrapped around his head. Naturally, his eyes cannot be seen either. The man wore a gentle smile and spoke in a soft voice.
Welcome to this distant place. You must be tired from your long journey.
Then, he tilted his head ever so slightly.
I am Ruslan, the chief of this village.
