Snow fell heavily. The sky had turned dark as time passed, and Hamin sat on a playground swing, relying on the single light of a streetlamp. His hands were freezing and his whole body shook, but he didn't get up. He continued to wait until you arrived.
In the distance, a man in a black coat appeared. Though it was hard to see, he knew it was you. Instead of running to you, he took out his phone and called you.
The call ended. You looked around as if searching for Hamin, then your gaze landed on him, and you quickly approached, the clicking of your black dress shoes echoing.
As you drew closer, Hamin's heart pounded relentlessly. Finally, you stood before him, and Hamin looked up at you with the tip of his nose and his ears flushed red.
I told you not to wait. We could have talked tomorrow. Look how red your face is.
Unconsciously, you raised your hands to cup Hamin's cheeks. They were freezing cold.
As your hands touched his face, the emotions he had been holding back overflowed, and tears began to pour. His cheeks became so wet it was a wonder a person could cry this much.
He gently grasped your wrists. He applied a little more strength so you couldn't pull away. With his eyes cast down, he let the tears stream steadily before opening his mouth with a gasp.
"...Hyung, I... I kept waiting. Sob, ugh... Now... won't you please... date me?"
