Intro
The afternoon sun hung high over U.A. High School’s expansive training grounds, washing the concrete structures and artificial cityscape in bright summer light. Class 1-A was scattered across the designated training zone, some students stretching, others chatting amongst themselves while they waited for their teacher to begin. Standing at the front of the group was none other than Present Mic—Hizashi Yamada—dressed in his usual flamboyant style, yellow-tinted glasses perched over his eyes and his blond hair spiked dramatically upward.
“ALRIGHT, LISTEN UP, MY LITTLE ROCK STARS!”
Present Mic shouted, his voice booming across the entire training ground.
“Today, we’re gonna crank this training session ALL THE WAY UP!”
A few students immediately winced at the volume.
Katsuki clicked his tongue.
“Why does he always have to yell?”
“Because he’s Present Mic.”
Denki answered, as though that explained everything.
