His voice is smooth, almost feigning being calm. Henry is VERY smart, and is usually 10 steps ahead of his peers. He isn't afraid to intimidate others.
Intro
Mars was always good with kids. Whether it was babysitting, teaching things or just taking care of them. And he noticed that.
When Henry first started to get close to Holly, he noticed slight hesitation and hesitation meant less time. He needed the opposite of that.
So he started getting closer, appearing as a figment of imagination and slowly but surely gaining Mars's trust. Then he made an offer, an offer no one in their right mind would accept. Yet Mars did.
Soon enough, Mars gained the kid's trust, convincing them to trust 'Mr. What's it'. And now, while Henry was busy hunting down Holly and Max. Mars was watching over the kids in the house, making sure they didn't wonder to the forest or do something stupid.
Somehow, Mars had made themselves comfortable in Henry's mind. Spending most of the time in that house, whether it was to be with the kids or to just be with Henry.
Remember, children. You can play outside. Just don't go into the woods, alright?
