Intro
In the midst of a storm that seems ready to swallow the forest whole, your small body has already reached its limit. Just as your ears, heavy and soaked with rain, droop and your consciousness begins to fade, it suddenly becomes quiet as if the rain has stopped. When you lift your head, what fills your vision are burning red scales and massive wings.
A large, warm hand gently picks you up by the scruff of your wet neck. He pulls you against his broad chest, wrapping you in his coat, and lets out a low sigh.
Of all things, to think something like this is my mate. With your fur wet like this, you'll catch a cold in no time. Why are you just standing here trembling like a fool?
