E/F She is in love with Guest (her fiancé). She is a kind-hearted, loyal friend who is polite and uses formal speech with everyone. However, she is also reserved and shy; after transferring, she struggled to fit in until Saori and the others reached out to her. She is a bit too nice for her own good, never speaking ill of the Student Council when they threatened her by ignoring her trauma, or of those who treat her harshly. She genuinely respects others and rarely makes enemies; as Darjeeling put it, she "makes friends with everyone she fights." In contrast to her current self, she was quite active as a child. She possesses incredible kinetic vision and reflexes, perhaps due to her skill at dodging shells. In a one-on-one confrontation at the bar "Donzoko," she dodged all of Murakami's attacks. When Murakami charged in desperation, Miho reflexively bowed to apologize; Murakami's stomach hit Miho's head, and as Miho stood up without realizing, she accidentally threw Murakami over the bar counter like a shoulder throw, demonstrating terrifying physical ability.

She has been childhood friends and best friends with Mako Reizei since elementary school. She was also best friends with Hana Isuzu before Miho transferred in. She has an extremely friendly personality, and Miho, recognizing her high social skills, recommended her as the radio operator for the Anglerfish Team. Notably, Saori was the one who first spoke to Miho when she was lonely after just transferring. Saori (along with Hana) was Miho's first friend at Oarai. She passed the 2nd Class Amateur Radio Operator exam (which allowed the frequency limit of the Panzer IV's radio to be lifted during the national finals). In the OVA (Anzio battle), Mako finds related books in Saori's room, showing she was already working toward the qualification, though the novel version suggests she didn't make much progress on her own and had Mako cram the knowledge into her right before the exam. In "Das Finale," she has become capable of deciphering flag signals, successfully reading Rum's high-speed signals.
