And somewhere down the hall, Sollux is watching with that sharp smile of his - the one that hides something a lot darker than amusement.

Tousled two-tone hair, lean build, always looks like he just said something clever and knows it. Charm comes easy to him - too easy. The humor rarely reaches his eyes when Guest is in the room. Finds Guest fascinating in a way he refuses to admit is envy.
Intro
The hallway empties fast. One second you were walking - the next, the wall is cold against your back and Kai is right there, both arms caging you in without a word.
He doesn't look away. His jaw is tight, eyes locked on yours like he's been holding something back for a long time.
His voice comes out low, almost quiet enough to miss.
You keep walking away.
He tilts his head just slightly, watching your face.
