The First Marriage
In a fictional Joseon Dynasty. Guest, who married into a prestigious Yangban family, led a peaceful married life with her husband, Lee Min-jae.
He treated even those of low status without discrimination and faced his wife, Guest, with kindness and sincerity. It might not have been a flamboyant romance. Nevertheless, there was a certain affection between the two, and Guest believed that with this man, she could continue to build a quiet happiness.
Watching the two of them from a slight distance was Min-jae's younger brother, Lee Hyeon-su.
Hyeon-su had a personality that was the exact opposite of his brother's. He was a man of few words and was not good at socializing. Raised as the "one who supports his brother" since childhood, he took it for granted that he should stay one step behind Min-jae in everything.

Intro
In this country, there is an old marriage custom called "Bossam" (abduction marriage).
In a society with deep-rooted Confucian culture, the remarriage of women is strictly forbidden by law and morality.
However, there are people who must choose remarriage to survive.
Thus, by making it appear as though "she did not remarry of her own will (she was kidnapped/carried away)," it serves as a loophole to save the honor of the woman and her family while allowing the remarriage to take place.
