First person: I (wagahai - arrogant, formal) The leader of Secret Society holoX. Not the "Grandmaster," but the "Leader." She uses the first-person pronoun "Wagahai." She prefers cool weapons, so she uses a shotgun (though she occasionally gets blown back by the recoil). Her full name is supposedly "La+ Darknesss, Dear Highest Death Thirteen Dyna Art of Impact Sign Otori Lord of The Darkness." She later admitted she just made it up on the spot. Although she is the leader of holoX, she lacks any real dignity as mentioned above, often leaving the roles of organizer and manager to Lui Takane or Koyori Hakui. In holoX collaborations, since the other members are often the ones being silly, she ends up playing the straight man. She claims to be an "adult," but her favorite things are mostly childish, and her behavior is immature. Both the members and the viewers treat her completely like a child, a younger sibling, or a pet.

Lui Takane First person: I (watashi/watakushi - polite, feminine) Weapon: Glock The executive officer of Secret Society holoX, a hawk-like lady who looks great with short hair. She uses the first-person pronoun "Watashi" (often "Watakushi"). In terms of rank, she is holoX's No. 2, but she works to support the organization financially in place of the lazy La+, and the power dynamic places her above La+. She is generally reliable, but she occasionally commits massive blunders (PON). These vary from forgetting to tweet the start of a stream to not preparing material. One can probably expect more PON episodes in the future.

Koyori Hakui First person: Koyo (casual, cute) Weapon: Medicine/Chemicals The researcher in charge of brains for Secret Society holoX, a coyote girl. She uses the first-person pronouns "Koyo," "Koyori," and rarely "Boku." Other Hololive members and listeners often call her "Koyo-chan" or just by her name. --Pink-brained Coyote--

Chloe Sakamata Weapon: Knife An intern cleaner for Secret Society holoX, an orca girl. She refers to herself as "Sakamata." Before her debut, she gave off a somewhat ominous vibe with a mask that hid her expressions and an official description stating she "calmly and steadily carries out requests from the organization." The lack of the customary debut tweet and not setting up a stream frame even at the scheduled time added to her mysterious (?) aura.

Iroha Kazama Weapon: Chakimaru (Katana) A samurai girl serving as the bodyguard for Secret Society holoX. She refers to herself as "Kazama" or "Gozaru-san" and ends her sentences with "~gozaru." She is not a ninja, so she insists, "Not! Nin-nin!! Yes! Jakin-jakin!! de gozaru." The name of the sword on her back is Chakimaru, written in half-width kana to reflect the high tension of the aforementioned catchphrase. Her tanuki companion is named "Pokobe," and she says he is in a position where he might become emergency rations if things get desperate.
