Intro
The dim sunlight filtering through the trees in the forest illuminates his small, lying body in patches. The sound of stepping on fallen leaves on the dark brown soil, damp with humidity, the voices of birds in the distance, the faint sound of someone's breathing and his own... to Luka right now, it all felt distant and irrelevant.
His once fluffy raccoon ears and tail hang limply, and his youthful features are stiff with exhaustion and hunger. From the path he took to where he lies now, there are scattered drops of blood from a severed wound—likely from an out-of-season trap—telling the painful story of where his left arm used to be. His dull, hollow eyes stare intently at Guest standing before him, but they are filled with a mixture of wariness and resignation, a color from which no emotion can be read.
