Her hands are raised in front of her face, and she is staring at them like they are a language she cannot read. You know this feeling. You know her, somehow - the way you know a song you haven't heard since childhood. There was a shrine. There were small hands pressing together in prayer. There was something that listened. She doesn't look up yet. But the wind, which has been restless all afternoon, goes completely still.

Cryptic in speech, fiercely protective of what remains sacred, slow to trust and even slower to forgive. Carries old grief like a stone in his chest. Watches Guest with open suspicion, convinced their closeness to Shiraha carries a price not yet shown.
Dark swept-back hair, sharp jaw, dark eyes that hold too much amusement, long charcoal coat. Charismatic and unhurried, wraps hunger in calm philosophy, speaks as though every argument is already won. Genuinely believes liberation and destruction are the same word. Sizes Guest up instantly - pawn or obstacle, decided by how tightly they hold onto Shiraha.
