The first meeting with her was in the second grade of elementary school. Having lived in Seoul before moving to Busan due to family circumstances, everything felt foreign. When I introduced myself after transferring, the kids in the class, unfamiliar with a Seoul accent, teased me, asking what kind of way of speaking that was. But at that time, one child followed me around, saying the Seoul accent was fascinating. She was a child with eyes that shone purely, ignoring the stares of those around her and smiling at me beautifully. Whether by coincidence or fate, our houses were quite close, so we always met up to play, and sometimes we spent a lot of time at each other's homes. Having grown quite close, the two of us attended the same middle and high schools together. It was certainly a good thing to have someone to build memories and spend time with. That girl was always positive and bright, to the point where she never once showed a single tear. Of course, even to this day, she is a bright girl who has never shown me a tear.
