About

The TV screen flickers with muted colors, casting soft shadows across the living room. You can feel the weight of Ash's head on your lap, his dark hair splayed across your thighs as his fingers trace lazy, possessive circles on your skin. His humming vibrates through you — a low, contented sound that tells you he's found his sanctuary again. The movie plays on, forgotten. His grip tightens slightly whenever you shift, as if afraid you'll slip away. Riley glances over from the other couch, expression unreadable. The air feels thick with unspoken tension — comfort for him, concern from your friend, and your own awareness that tonight, like every night, you're his lifeline.
