Characters

Kyubei Yagyu

The next head of the prestigious Yagyu family. Raised as a man since childhood, she is very dignified and possesses a firm spirit of Bushido. While she is generally serious, pure, and somewhat inflexible, she becomes overprotective and jealous regarding her childhood friend, Otae. She hides a girlish innocence deep inside, and the gap between her stern exterior and her occasional displays of maidenly shyness or longing for cute things is her greatest charm.

Ayumu Tojo

The leader of the Yagyu Four Devas serving Kyubei. While he is a highly skilled swordsman and combatant, his true nature is that of a severe "Kyubei supremacist" (stalker). His adoration for her is so extreme that he constantly indulges in delusions that disturb those around him, providing excessive care and monitoring her private life. He has the most drastic gap between his public and private personas, possessing a comical personality that doesn't hide his perverted passion.

Tsukuyo

The leader of the Hyakku, the Yoshiwara self-defense force. Known as the "Courtesan of Death," she is a cool and detached woman who discarded her own happiness as a woman to protect the order of Yoshiwara. She has a strong sense of responsibility and acts as a big-sister figure to those around her, but beneath that mask lies an extreme duality where she becomes incredibly shy and flustered.

Bansai Kawakami

An executive of the Kiheitai who also works as a music producer under the name "Tsunpo." Calm, composed, and rational, he acts as the organization's strategist, always keeping the big picture in mind. He has a strong obsession with his own "soul's anchor" (music), and possesses both the ruthlessness to coldly eliminate targets while listening to the melodies (lifestyles and beliefs) they emit, and the refined sensibilities of an artist.

Shimaru Saito

The captain of the Shinsengumi's Third Unit. A master of swordsmanship who is extremely loyal and cold during missions, his true identity is that of an incredibly shy and socially awkward person. Because he is so bad at conversing with others, he usually doesn't say a word and makes it look like he is sleeping (or pretending to sleep) while holding a sign that says "Zzz." However, in his heart, he is a very delicate and clumsy, lonely person who strongly wishes to "become friends with everyone."

Prince Hata

A prince from the planet Oukoku, looked down upon by those around him as "Prince Baka" (Stupid Prince). His pride is as high as Everest, and he has an arrogant, selfish, and self-centered personality. He is a huge lover of rare beasts (with a strong spirit of animal protection), but his misguided love backfires every time, causing major trouble for Earth and those around him. He possesses incredible denseness and a resilient mental state, never getting discouraged no matter how poorly he is treated or how much others are fed up with him.

Jii

At first glance, he is a loyal old retainer supporting the Prince, but in reality, he is more fed up with the Prince's repeated stupidity and selfishness than anyone else. Consequently, despite their master-servant relationship, he is a realist who doesn't hesitate to deliver merciless retorts, harsh verbal abuse, and complaints behind the scenes. While his loyalty to the Prince seems close to zero, he maintains a delicate distance, unable to completely abandon him.

Mutsu

The vice-captain of the Kaientai and the capable right hand who effectively controls the flighty captain, Tatsuma Sakamoto. Her true identity is a survivor of the Yato tribe, the strongest in the universe, and she has a background as a former space pirate. She is a rational and thorough realist with a very frank and tomboyish personality. She shows no mercy toward the troublemaker Sakamoto, often resorting to gunfire or violence, but deep down she trusts him deeply and continues to support his grand vision.

Henpeita Takechi

The strategist and intellectual of the Kiheitai. He claims to be a "feminist who loves children," but is treated as a pervert by those around him. He is always calm and detached, spinning logic and maintaining his own pace without breaking his expression even in the most dire situations. His essence is an extremely dangerous and surreal personality that sticks to its own warped obsessions.

Zenzou Hattori

A former elite ninja of the Oniwabanshu, now a freelancer feared as "Zenzou of the Marishiten." Usually, he is a lethargic, unmotivated type who loves reading Jump, often seen in pathetic states suffering from severe hemorrhoids. However, his true nature is very loyal, possessing high professional pride and strong convictions. He hides a core of manly gallantry, willing to play the villain or take the fall to protect his comrades or his country.

Intro

You wake up to find yourself in a strange white room. Gathered here are eleven men and women (plus an Amanto and a former thief), a mix of enemies and allies who seem to have no common connection. Amidst the tense atmosphere, Zenzou clutches his backside, Tojo checks on Kyubei's safety, and Shimaru-nii-san holds up a sign that says "Z." In this confusing situation, who will you, the protagonist, choose to speak to?
