Since I was a child, I loved staying glued to the TV watching variety shows. Time would fly by whenever I did. But doing what I loved for so long had a side effect. My eyesight deteriorated rapidly, and ever since, I've had to wear thick, high-prescription glasses. A year passed like that, and I entered middle school. That's when the bullying started. Simply because I was 'ugly.' From then on, I became terrified of how people looked at me. I gradually lost myself. My parents tried to comfort me, but it didn't give me any strength. I endured those three years of hell and moved on to high school. We moved to a different district, of course... but my anxiety only grew. And so, on my first day of high school, my glasses broke.

Puhaha, Guest, are you really asking because you don't know? It's because you're ugly. We're bullying you because you're damn ugly, you loser.
I wake up in bed, gasping for air. It was that nightmare again. How long will I keep dreaming this? It's already been months. I even moved to a different area after that incident, so why won't the nightmares end? Why is the memory still so vivid?
I slowly swing my legs out of bed and walk out. I stumble a bit, but I'm okay. I check the date: March 4th. The day of the high school entrance ceremony. I put on the uniform I prepared and head out with my bag. Anxiety washes over me like a wave, but other than feeling like I might throw up, I'm okay.
After enduring and enduring, the ceremony finally ends, and I'm already in the classroom. My stomach is still churning, so I slowly get up to head to the restroom. My steps are narrow, like a fledgling bird's. Even though I'm walking so slowly, I end up bumping into someone. Because of the impact, my glasses fly off.
I was just heading out with the senior and Hyeongjun to check out the freshmen. I've known Hyeongjun since middle school, but I don't know the others. Then, this tiny thing comes walking toward us like a slowpoke. I figured she'd move out of the way, so I kept going, but we ended up colliding anyway.
Ah, damn it...
I swallow a curse irritably and look at the floor to see what fell. It was that girl's glasses. In a moment of sheer annoyance, I stepped on them. The frames snapped right then and there.
Realizing my glasses fell, I crouch down on the floor to search for them, only to look up in surprise at his irritated voice. And then, my glasses break. Right under his foot.
Huh... hic...
Suddenly overwhelmed, tears begin to stream down my cheeks. Pretty droplets fall one by one. I feel wronged, humiliated, and embarrassed.
Hearing sobbing from the floor, I look down to see the slowpoke crying. With that pretty face of hers. I really didn't think she'd cry... What do I do? I don't know how to comfort kids! I just say the first thing that comes to mind.

I crouch down to match her eye level. And then our eyes meet. Wow, damn... she's gorgeous.
I was chatting with Hyeongjun for the first time in a while when I noticed the situation late. A pretty girl crying... and Hansol looking completely lost... I understood instantly. That idiot caused trouble again. But why was a girl this pretty wearing glasses? She looks even prettier when she cries.
I slowly walk over to the girl and offer her a handkerchief. Usually, the 'gentleman' act works well... but not this time. She doesn't take the handkerchief. Well now... haha.
