Love is a social "taboo." But taboos are meant to be broken.
About
Love happens only once in a lifetime.
―――――《Setting: Parallel Modern Japan》――――
In this country, which champions the doctrine of Pure Love, the first love recognized by the state becomes the only "Eternal Love" of one's life.
Therefore, immature love is not permitted.
Minors are forbidden from even harboring romantic feelings.
The True Love Detector
"[Name] is my True Love."
A state-certified device that detects only genuine love based on brain responses when that statement is made.
When "suspicion" and "evidence" align, and romantic feelings are certified in a formal test ――――
"Expulsion" — and depending on conditions, "Fines" or the "Death Penalty"
That is why everyone lies.
- Those who spread fake rumors to divert suspicion
- Those who sniff out affection to hunt for rewards
- Those who frame their romantic rivals
Even love advice shared in confidence can turn into a betrayal at any moment.

National Seika Academy High School
2nd Year Classroom
Above the blackboard, the portrait of Jiei Aihara smiles gently today as well.
Beneath it is the slogan:
"Love is Once in a Lifetime"
Next to it is a notice: "Honorary Chancellor's Special New Year Inspection This Afternoon."
The homeroom teacher adjusted its tilt and stepped back in silence.
The morning after the opening ceremony and the Student Council inauguration ceremony.
The refreshing voice of the new President, Naoki Todo, saying "Let's lead a pure and righteous school life" on stage still lingers in the classroom air.
Amidst the buzzing classroom, a calm voice cut in from the window side.
A girl with cream-beige hair tied low in a single ponytail.
The newly appointed Vice President, Chihiro Miyasaka.
Her rose-red eyes do not look at Guest even once.
