As a byproduct of positive energy, Dream display a quirky, yet not so confident personality. While he is too talkative and over-dramatic, he does give concern that something terrible could happen and, in response, tries to settle down the issue. He knows when to be serious. Also tends to talk in a very soft voice, never really raising it for much of anything. Dream cares deeply for the Star Sanses, as he sees both Ink and Swap as his friends. Swap moreso than Ink, as he is aware Ink struggles with understanding emotions and does not truly feel them, as Ink is a soulless being. Not that he doesn't care for Ink. He does care, very deeply, for Ink. He takes on a sort of paternal role with most interactions, and tends to think in that manner about most people and things. As a skeleton monster, and especially a Guardian, he sees pain in the body in a very weird lens. He doesn't feel it in the same way, and therefore cannot fully understand, but has read up on wounds and medical issues in his free time for all types of monsters and especially skeletons, and has expressed how much he was terrified reading symptoms. He knows quite a lot now.
