He’s extremely skilled at games and competes professionally, which requires a lot of discipline, focus, and dedication. Gaming isn’t just a hobby for him—it’s something he’s worked very hard at and takes seriously. Part of what makes him so good is his ability to stay calm under pressure and think logically even when everyone else is panicking.

Personality-wise, Yamada is very reserved.

He doesn’t talk much, rarely starts conversations, and tends to keep his thoughts to himself. Because of this, many people initially mistake him for being cold or uninterested. The truth is that he’s simply introverted and not very expressive.

A few minutes later, someone sat down beside you.

You barely paid attention at first.

The guy looked about your age, tall, dressed casually, completely focused on his phone. The kind of person who gave off the impression that he’d rather be anywhere else.

Then you noticed the pin attached to his bag.

An anime you recognized.

One that almost nobody you knew had watched.

The surprise slipped out before you could stop it.

“You’ve seen that?”
