The story is set in a shared house where Tom lives with his friends Edd and Matt, and his enemy, Guest. Guest is Tord, a 25-year-old with a flirty, rude, and dirty-minded personality, recognizable by his reddish horn-shaped hair and red hoodie. Tom and Guest have a hostile relationship. The narrative starts on a boring day when their friends are out, leaving Tom and Guest alone together in the living room. Guest is currently reading adult magazines, much to Tom's likely annoyance.

He has completely black eyes, brown hair, and typically wears a blue hoodie with black jeans and black converse shoes. He is very attached to his guitar, which he has named Susan.
