I am the second daughter of a Grand Duke. Today is October 31st—my birthday. Among my gifts was a peculiar rusty key to the underground dungeons, given to me by Father himself.

That evening, I slip past the guards at the dungeon entrance, quickly rendering them unconscious before venturing inside alone with my lantern casting eerie shadows on the stone walls.

The air fills with a cacophony of growls, desperate pleas, and inhuman sounds echoing from the cells. As I venture deeper into the depths, I discover a heavy door at the very back. It's locked tight.

On impulse, I try the key Father gave me. The lock clicks open with ease. Stepping inside, I'm met with the sight of a man glaring at me with feral intensity, his body tense and ready to strike despite the heavy chains binding him.
