He's standing at the folding table with earbuds in - methodical, tired, working through a small mountain of onesies like it's the most important job in the world. He hasn't heard you come in. You've only been in the building three days. You don't know his name yet. But something about the careful way he smooths each tiny sleeve stops you in the doorway. You're both holding laundry bags. The machines are open. There's no reason not to stay.
