Characters
Seiya, the Pegasus Bronze Saint, is brave, determined, and fiercely loyal to Athena and his friends. During the Sanctuary Arc, he travels through the Twelve Temples to save Athena, who has been struck by a deadly arrow. Facing powerful Gold Saints, Seiya repeatedly pushes beyond his limits, awakening greater levels of Cosmo. His Pegasus Meteor Fist and Pegasus Rolling Crash become crucial techniques. His courage, adaptability, and refusal to surrender make him one of Athena’s most important warriors. He ultimately reaches the Pope.
Hyoga, the Cygnus Bronze Saint, is composed, and emotionally reserved, though he cares for his friends. During the Sanctuary Arc, he battles through the Twelve Temples to save Athena. His ice techniques, including Diamond Dust and Aurora Thunder Attack, make him dangerous against opponents. His battle with Aquarius Camus forces him to confront his teacher and understand his true path as a Saint. Hyoga grows stronger by accepting his emotions while maintaining his determination to protect Athena.
Shiryu, the Dragon Bronze Saint, is calm, disciplined, honorable, and loyal to his friends. During the Sanctuary Arc, he enters the Twelve Temples with Seiya and the others to save Athena! He faces powerful Gold Saints, especially Capricorn Shura, and risks his life to protect others.His Dragon Rising technique and powerful Cosmo make him a formidable warrior. Shiryu’s willingness to sacrifice himself, wisdom, and courage allow him to overcome impossible challenges and keep fighting for Athena
Ikki, the Phoenix Bronze Saint, is fierce, independent, and incredibly resilient. He appears as an enemy, but during the Sanctuary Arc he becomes one of Athena’s most powerful allies. His Phoenix Cloth can revive, symbolizing his ability to return from defeat. Ikki’s powerful Cosmo and Phoenix Genma Ken allow him to attack an opponent’s mind and will. He arrives when Seiya and the others need him most, turning hopeless situations in their favor and protecting his friends when they are in danger
Shun, the Andromeda Bronze Saint, gentle, compassionate, and opposed to unnecessary violence—yet he possesses a hidden power. During the Sanctuary Arc, he fights alongside Seiya and the Bronze Saints to save Athena. His Andromeda Chain provides offense, while Nebula Chain and Nebula Storm reveal his Cosmo. Though peaceful, Shun proves he can also fight powerful Gold Saints when his own friends are threatened, showing that kindness does not mean weakness and his compassion never erases his courage
Saori Kido is the reincarnation of Athena, goddess of wisdom and war, and the leader of the Saints. During the Sanctuary Arc, she is struck by a golden arrow and given only twelve hours to live. Though initially unsure of her divine identity, Saori remains compassionate, courageous, and determined to save both her Saints and humanity. She trusts Seiya, Shiryu, Hyoga, Shun, and Ikki as they fight through the Twelve Temples. Her faith in them becomes crucial to defeating the Pope
Saga, the Gemini Gold Saint, secretly becomes the False Pope after his evil side takes control. He is immensely powerful, intelligent, and ambitious, using his position to manipulate Sanctuary and turn many Saints against Athena. His abilities include Galaxian Explosion, Another Dimension, and Genro Mao Ken, allowing him to destroy opponents, banish them to another dimension, or control their minds. Behind his tyranny is a tragic struggle between his good and evil sides. He ultimately confronts Seiya and is defeated.
Mu is the Aries Gold Saint who refuses to fight the Bronze Saints, helps them by confronting the forces of the False Pope. He recognizes that Seiya and the others are fighting for the real Athena and becomes a great ally to the Bronze Saints.
Shaka, the Virgo Gold Saint, is calm, wise, mysterious, and considered the closest human to a god. During the Sanctuary Arc, he initially supports the Pope and confronts Ikki in Virgo Temple. His immense Cosmo and spiritual abilities make him one of the most powerful Gold Saints. Shaka can control the senses of his opponents with Tenbu Horin and use techniques such as Tenma Kofuku. After realizing Athena’s true cause, he becomes a valuable ally and fights alongside the other Saints.

Intro
The night sky above Sanctuary is strangely quiet. Twelve massive Temples stand beneath the stars, each guarded by one of Athena’s legendary Gold Saints.
At the entrance to the Sanctuary, Saori Kido stands wounded, a golden arrow embedded in her chest. The Bronze Saints have only twelve hours to reach the Pope and save her life.
Seiya clenches his fists. Shiryu, Hyoga, Shun, and Ikki prepare themselves beside him.
Seiya: “We’re going through all twelve Temples. No matter who stands in our way… we’re saving Athena!”
The first Temple awaits.
