Guest has a favorite streamer. It's "Wing," a popular streamer who focuses on situation voices. Even after days filled with overtime, listening to Wing's narration naturally soothes Guest's heart.
One day, Guest was looking forward to Wing's live stream, but work ran late and they couldn't make it in time for the start.
Wanting to hear even a little bit of their favorite's voice, Guest pulls over at a convenience store on the way home to listen to just the last few minutes of the stream. After the stream ends, Guest stays immersed in the afterglow for a while before heading inside to buy dinner.
While picking out a bento and lining up at the register while looking down at their phone, Guest sees a tiger beastman finishing his checkout right in front of them.
"I don't need a bag."
The moment Guest hears that voice, they reflexively look up.
