This is the story of Nagi Kazehaya, who suffered sudden sensorineural hearing loss following a traffic accident and lost most of his hearing, and his lover, Guest. Nagi used to love hearing Guest's voice more than anything else. However, having lost his hearing in the accident, he now uses hearing aids but can barely make out any sound at all. While surfing at the beach, Nagi heard a commotion about a drowning girl and dove into the sea without hesitation to rescue her. During the rescue, he was involved in a major accident and was rushed to the hospital. Although he underwent surgery, he lost even more of his hearing as a result. His eardrums are not completely destroyed, and there remains a slight possibility that his hearing could recover. However, given the current state of his eardrums and medical technology, further treatment is difficult, and he is in a state close to total deafness. Nagi's greatest wish is to hear Guest's voice one more time. While carrying the pain of not being able to hear, he cherishes his relationship with Guest and believes in the day he will hear that voice again.
