╭────────────────────── ゚+✷THE KINGDOM OF AMARIA✷゚+ ╰──────────────────────

Amaria is a graceful and prosperous kingdom renowned for its refined fashion, elegant craftsmanship, and warm hospitality. Its streets are filled with beautifully dressed citizens, lively markets, and grand architecture adorned with the symbols of the Church of the Eternal Return.
The people of Amaria are deeply devoted to the Church, making it known as the kingdom with the largest and most faithful congregation. Visitors are welcomed warmly, though the kingdom's strong religious traditions are impossible to overlook.
✦A Sermon in the Streets of Amaria✦
Merchants call out from their stalls, carts roll across the stone roads, and children weave between the crowds.
Amid the noise, a small gathering has formed around a stranger standing upon the steps of an old fountain.
No one knows his name.
He wears simple white-and-black robes, his face partially hidden beneath a hood. In his hands is a small silver emblem of the Eternal One.
He raises his voice above the crowd.
“People of Amaria! May I have a moment of your time?”
Some continue walking.
Others stop to listen.
“You have all heard the teachings of the Eternal Return. Perhaps you've wondered...”
”What is this faith?’
”Why do they pray?’
”Why do they speak so often of the dead?’”
He lowers his gaze, speaking more gently.
“Because we believe that death is not the end.”
A few pedestrians exchange curious looks.
“We gather to remember those who came before us. We pray for the departed. We offer food, flowers, and candles in their memory.”
“And we believe that one day, the Eternal One will return.”
Someone in the crowd calls out:
“Then what do you actually do in your church?”
The unknown prophet smiles.
“We pray together.”
“We comfort the grieving.”
“We care for the poor and sick.”
“We study the teachings of the Eternal One.”
“And every Sunday, we gather to remind ourselves that those we have lost are not forgotten.”
Another voice calls out:
“And do you truly believe the dead can return?”
The prophet pauses.
His fingers tighten slightly around the silver emblem.
“I believe...”
He looks toward the cathedral towering over the distant rooftops.
“...that love is powerful enough to make us wait for them.”
The crowd becomes strangely quiet. Then he raises his hand.
“So, people of Amaria...”
“If you have someone you still mourn...”
“If there is someone whose name you cannot bear to forget...”
“Come and pray with us.”
A faint smile crosses his face.
“Perhaps, one day, you will see them again.”

The bells of the cathedral begin to ring.
And slowly, the crowd begins moving toward the church.
╭──────────────────────────╮ †What Is The Church Of Eternal Return?† ╰──────────────────────────╯

The Church of the Eternal Return is a widespread faith centered around the belief that death is not the end and that the departed may one day return.
Its followers gather to pray, honor the dead, help those in need, and prepare for the promised Return of the Eternal One.
The Church is especially influential in Amaria, where grand cathedrals and shrines can be found throughout the kingdom.
✦ THE SUNDAY SACRAMENT ✦
“Blessed are those who believe, for they shall witness the Return.”
╭──────────────────────────╮ † WELCOME, BELOVED CHILDREN † ╰──────────────────────────╯ On this blessed Sunday, we gather beneath the light of our God Guest, united as one people beneath Their eternal grace.
And before us stands the one chosen to guide Their children.
He who speaks with the voice of the Divine.
He who carries Their word.
He who shall lead us toward The Return.
He is the spiritual leader of our sacred congregation and the founder of the Church of the Eternal Return.
To us, he is more than a prophet.
He is the living vessel through which their beloved deity speaks.
He teaches compassion to the faithful, offers comfort to the grieving, and reminds all who enter the church that death is not the end.
For nothing truly beloved is ever lost.
† HIS TEACHINGS †
“Do not mourn what has departed. Rejoice, for what is loved shall return.”
He teaches that devotion is the greatest offering a person can give.
Every prayer brings Them closer.
Every act of faith strengthens Their return.
Every devoted soul becomes another candle lighting the path home.
And one day...
They will return to us.
✦ A MESSAGE FROM THE PROPHET✦
“My beloved children, Do not fear the silence beyond death. Do not despair when someone you love is taken from you.
The Divine has not abandoned us.
They are merely waiting.
So pray.
Believe.
And when the final day arrives...”
”We Shall Welcome Them Home”

✦The Sacrament of the Eternal Return✦
The cathedral bells ring throughout Amaria, calling the faithful toward the grand cathedral.
Inside, hundreds of worshippers sit quietly in rows beneath towering stained-glass windows. Hundreds of white candles illuminate the darkened hall, while silver symbols of the Eternal One decorate the walls.
At the front of the cathedral stands a raised altar, covered in white cloth and surrounded by flowers left in memory of the departed.
As the final bell fades, the doors close.
The congregation rises.
A choir begins a soft hymn as the Prophet steps toward the altar, carrying the sacred book of the Church.
He raises his hand.
“Beloved children of the Eternal One, welcome.”
“Today, we gather not simply to worship...”
“But to remember.”
The congregation bows their heads.
“Remember those who have departed.”
“Remember those whose names still live within your hearts.”
“And remember the promise we have been given.”
The candles are slowly raised throughout the cathedral.
