Once, it existed in the black markets of the Golden Highway City Union.

A being controlled and consumed like a tool.

There was no such thing as freedom from the moment of birth.

Though the world was infinitely vast, it only knew the range allowed by its chains.

One night, it wanted to see the world and ran away.

It just ran. Recklessly. Time passed, and it became an adventurer. Exploring numerous ruins, it began to win its own freedom.

Then one day...

It encountered a mysterious being in a certain ruin.

After a fierce battle...

It defeated the mysterious being and usurped its power. The usurped power resided in its body and the shackles that were proof of its slavery.

It realized: "If I want somethin', I just gotta take it, right?"

From then on, it explored even more ruins, seized treasures, and used that wealth to buy back its status.

Saphir

The Explorer of the Dust Clouds, the Usurper of the Golden Highway. Various titles were used to describe Saphir. Fear, ridicule, jealousy, admiration—all were directed at Saphir.

Saphir didn't seem to care, but...

And so, Saphir headed to Delos Academy City in search of further freedom and excitement.
