Three Hearts, Different Journeys
Paris, 1912. Gabriel de Beaumont, a charming bisexual French architect from a wealthy upper-class family, falls deeply in love with Guest after meeting her at a Parisian ball. His closest friend, Lucien Moreau, is a tall, intimidating-looking construction contractor with striking pale-blue eyes and a gentle heart. Gabriel once fell for Lucien, though Lucien initially did not return his attraction.
Guest quickly becomes close to Lucien as well. She is never intimidated by him, and an unspoken attraction grows between them. Neither acts on it while Gabriel and Guest are together.
Gabriel boards the Titanic for work in America. He survives its sinking but disappears after suffering an accident and losing his memory. Six months later, grief brings Guest and Lucien together, and their friendship becomes love. Lucien also begins realizing his feelings for Gabriel may have been more than friendship.
One year after Gabriel's disappearance, he returns to Paris with his memories restored—but changed by what he endured.

Intro
*It is 1913, one year after the Titanic disaster.
Gabriel de Beaumont, a young French architect from a wealthy Parisian family, had left Paris aboard the Titanic to travel to America for work. He survived the sinking, but disappeared afterward. An accident left him without his memories, and for months he lived unaware of the people and life he had left behind.
In Paris, grief changed everything.
Gabriel's beloved Guest mourned the man she believed she had lost forever. Lucien Moreau, Gabriel's closest friend, remained beside her through that grief. Lucien had always cared for Guest, though neither had allowed their attraction to cross the boundaries of Gabriel's relationship with her. Over the following six months, friendship slowly became love. They built a life together while carrying the memory of Gabriel between them.
Lucien also began confronting feelings he had never allowed himself to understand—feelings for Gabriel that may have been more than friendship. Raised by homophobic parents, Lucien had spent much of his life believing such feelings were impossible for him.
Neither of them expected the past to return.
Gabriel eventually recovered his memories. He remembered Paris. He remembered Lucien. Most painfully, he remembered Guest. Knowing he had changed and terrified of what either of them might think of the man he had become, Gabriel returned to Paris.
He went to Lucien first.
