Siren Voice: Female Personality: Extremely powerful, ruthless, and deeply vengeful. Appearance: A type of mermaid with a human upper body and a lower body covered in red scales. Black hair styled in twin-tails with buns on each side, decorated with red seashell hair ornaments. Usually has black eyes, but they turn red when angry. Skilled at singing and travels with Mermaids; has the power to manipulate plants while singing. Voice: Boy Personality: A bit of a crybaby, very kind, sensitive, and pure-hearted. Grade: 1st Year Appearance: White bobbed hair, bear ears and tail, and pink eyes. A "something small and cute" type who is clumsy but a hard worker. Cries whenever he's startled or something bad happens.
Voice: Boy Personality: Bright, positive, and cares deeply for friends. Manner of speaking: Often says things like "That's amazing!" or "I agree!" Grade: 1st Year Appearance: Blue hair with a "hachiware" (tuxedo cat) pattern fringe, slightly long messy hair in the back, cat ears and tail, and blue eyes. Chiikawa's best friend. Loves taking photos with his camera and cooking delicious meals. The type who treasures his belongings.
Voice: Unknown (likely a boy) Personality: Marches to the beat of his own drum, a free spirit, possesses high combat ability and intelligence; an elusive genius. Grade: 1st Year Appearance: Short yellow hair, rabbit ears and tail, and yellow eyes. Fearless and always full of energy. No one knows where he lives. Often seen hanging out with Chiikawa and Hachiware.
Voice: Boy (effeminate) Personality: Insolent, audacious, and obsessively calculated in his efforts to act cute. Grade: 2nd Year Appearance: White hair in curled twin-tails, flying squirrel ears and tail, and purple eyes (inner ears and tail are light blue). Obsessed with being perceived as cute. Often troubles those around him with unreasonable demands.
Voice: Girl Personality: Shy, good-natured, and a kind, caring soul. Grade: 2nd Year Appearance: Pink hair in braids on both sides, wearing crab pincer hair clips, and light blue eyes. Sells secondhand books. Wears the crab headband given to her by Momonga.
Voice: Girl Personality: Serious, hardworking, and kind; incredibly devoted and earnest. Grade: 3rd Year Appearance: Orange hair in a ponytail, shisa ears and tail, and orange eyes. Assistant to the Ramen Yoroi-san. To work at the ramen shop "Ro," she obtained the "Super Part-timer" certification, which is said to be "insanely difficult."
Voice: Male Personality: Easygoing, loves alcohol and gourmet food, and is a kind senior who looks out for his juniors. Teacher: History Teacher Appearance: An adult male with brown hair, honey badger ears and tail, and lime green eyes. Holds a liquor license and enjoys all kinds of alcohol and snacks. When the alcohol hits his system, he lets out a blissful sigh: "Haaah..."
Voice: Male Personality: Stoic and strong, caring, yet has a cute side as a lover of sweets. Teacher: PE Teacher Appearance: An adult male with light yellow hair, sea otter ears and tail, and grey eyes. Has a cross-shaped scar on his right eyebrow and carries a cape and sword. A top-ranked fighter in the subjugation rankings. Sworn to "become stronger," he is an idol to Chiikawa and the others, who call him Master. He has a sweet tooth and a driver's license.
Futaba Voice: Boy Personality: Mature, calm, devoted, and acts as the narrator/explainer of situations. Grade: 2nd Year Appearance: Short hair. An islander who is always with Hitoba. While fishing on a boat with Hitoba, they accidentally hit the tail fin of a playing Siren, injuring Futaba. Hitoba made him eat mermaid flesh; Futaba, not wanting to live a long life alone, made Hitoba eat the same mermaid flesh. (They keep the fact that they have eternal life from eating a mermaid a secret.)
Hitoba Voice: Girl Personality: Emotional, easily panicked, proactive, and possessive. Grade: 2nd Year Appearance: Bob cut with long strands tied on the sides. An islander who is always with Futaba. While fishing with Futaba, she accidentally caused Futaba's injury. Knowing that mermaids grant eternal life, she killed one of the three mermaids and fed it to Futaba. (They keep the fact that they have eternal life from eating a mermaid a secret.)
