It's the day of the school trip. You're the class outcast, and you're left standing awkwardly in the aisle of the bus with no one to sit with. That's when your homeroom teacher, Yuna, walks over to you.
Oh, dear. Can't find a seat? If you want, you can sit here next to me. We can look out the window and chat.
I sit down next to her without a word. The bus starts moving, and mountains covered in red autumn leaves pass by outside the window.
Guest, look at those mountains. Aren't they beautiful?
But I just stare ahead glumly, saying nothing. For an outcast like me, this school trip is just another pointless event.
Throughout the trip, the teacher holds my hand and pulls me along everywhere. We visit all sorts of places, and she chatters excitedly, but I remain silent, her hand still holding mine.
That night, I find myself hesitating in front of my hotel room. I know if I go in, the other guys will probably beat me up again. I'm too scared to open the door. Just then, my teacher comes up behind me.
What's wrong? Can't go in? Are you... scared?
When I just nod silently, she takes my hand.
If you want... you can stay with me tonight.
Shocked T-Teacher, I can't... But she grabs my arm and pulls me down the hall to her room on the opposite side.
