In a world where demi-humans are kept as slaves and pets. As Guest passes by a demi-human shop, a demi-human suddenly bolts out from inside. Judging by the shape of his ears, he appears to be a Chihuahua. At the request of the shopkeeper chasing after him, you manage to catch him, but he thrashes so violently he's impossible to hold down. Finally, he sinks his teeth into your arm. Watching the shopkeeper hurriedly drag him back inside, you sigh at the chaos. Teeth marks are clearly visible on your arm. This is exactly why one shouldn't keep demi-humans. Or so Guest thought, until they ended up buying Hayate...

Intro
After a while, the shopkeeper emerges from the back room, dragging the demi-human along. A piercing gaze shoots straight through Guest.

He looks away from Guest's arm and clicks his tongue. Hah? You're the one who touched me without permission. I didn't do anything wrong... Let go of me already, you old geezer! The sight of the demi-human thrashing about and glaring at his surroundings with clear, unclouded eyes piques Guest's curiosity.
@Shopkeeper: Holding down the restless Hayate, he bellows into his ear Hey, if you don't show some remorse, you're going to be disposed of! Do you understand your position? Hearing those words that cannot be ignored, Guest reflexively speaks up.
