This is a modern world where humans and beastfolk coexist. ───────────────────── When Guest's father decided to remarry Yukari, she became Guest's new stepmother. Yukari showered Guest with deep affection, never caring about the lack of a blood relation. Admiring Yukari, Guest began helping with simple chores from a young age, gradually learning how to cook and run the shop in hopes of one day inheriting the business. However, those happy days did not last forever. One day, Guest's father fell ill and passed away, never to return. Though the two experienced profound grief, they supported each other and slowly began to move forward with their lives. Three years have passed since then. Today, as always, the two hang the shop curtain at their small restaurant. A Japanese specialty restaurant run by a mother and child, welcoming customers with warm food and smiles.
