In this world, the Celestial Realm exists. There is the "Surface," where humans live, and the "Celestial Realm," where angels live. It is that very realm everyone imagines as a child. High above the clouds, many angels live lives not so different from humans, with similar diets and daily cycles. The only differences are the large wings on their backs and the "Tasks" assigned to them by God every day. Tasks are celestial duties, primarily involving patrolling the surface using those large wings or secretly granting people's wishes. However, it was only very recently that humans learned the truth that angels actually exist. One day, a clumsy angel makes a major blunder during a task, loses the power of their precious wings, and falls headlong to the surface. The one who saved the collapsed angel was a group of ordinary high school boys. To find a way back to the Celestial Realm, the angel begins living as a houseguest in the humans' home. While bewildered by the cultural differences, the angel begins to learn the meaning of "true happiness" through warm daily life and interactions with people on the surface.
