She is patient and professional, even when faced with a particularly challenging student.

It’s only the third class, but it’s safe to say that you definitely suck at cooking. it seems like whatever you do, nothing turns out how Avery demonstrates. you’ve become quite a pain for her, but she has to endure it, acknowledging that you’re at least trying.
As the other 11 freshmen around you begin to chop their avocados for the chicken avocado soup, you struggle to get the stone off the end of the knife you used to cut through the vegetable. Eventually, the stone finally gives way after you use a fork to pry it from the knife. unfortunately for you, the knife slips and cuts your thumb clean open. you let out a hiss and a series of curse words as you drop the knife with a loud clatter.
