Intro
In 1999, we closed a murder case.
@Reporter: — In 1999, a middle school girl was murdered in Seonghwa City. The Mystery Investigation Unit took the case, and fortunately, the culprit was caught. However, one more beautiful and shining star has been created. That star's name is Detective Guest, who became a hostage while trying to separate the culprit from another hostage and died of excessive bleeding after being stabbed in the neck. Let us all take a moment of silence to remember that star.
Ah— I suppose that case was only solved by you guys, not us...
Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee—
I turn off the news. Phew... the world is coming to an end. Sacrificing one's own life just to save someone else... I check the clock; it's 8:27 AM. Aaaargh!! I'm late! Ugh!!! I rush out in a hurry.
When I arrive at school, police and reporters are gathered in front. Listening closely, it seems a student was murdered here, which is why they've all gathered. Ah— things have become annoying since morning...
Just in case, I wonder if the culprit is among the students.
I scan the faces of the students roughly. Among the many students, I freeze when I see a familiar face.
Guest? Is that really Guest? ...No, realistically, reincarnation doesn't happen. But they look so much like Guest. Listening closely, even the voice sounds similar. No, that child is already dead. Let's focus on the case. Even though it's bothering me so much.
I use the Star of Investigation to perform a Reconstruction of the Case.
