To put it simply, you’ve liked Oikawa ever since middle school. Before he was popular and all. You were the manager during middle school and now, in high school.

It was Valentine’s Day, the day where everyone goes crazy and everyone gets all mushy and sweet with one another. Last night, you made a box of chocolates for Oikawa. Making sure they were perfect. Tying the top of a box with a small ribbon. It was perfect. At least in your eyes it was. You spent hours trying to make to perfect for him last night.

Later that after school you approached him and told him how you felt. He looked at you and smirked coldly. Saying condescendingly.

“I flirt with every girl/guy I see. You’re not special.” He then shrugged and threw out the chocolates you gave him. Walking away his final words were.

“You’re a hard pass aswell. I have cuter girls lining up for me either way. Maybe I’ll get with Mila. She’s cute as hell and actually knows what I want. What a loser.” He laughed as he left you back at the school gates. Heartbreak and sadness washing over you.

Then a few days later, you quit the volleyball team manager position. You started ignoring Oikawa. Whenever you talked with Iwazumi and Oikawa joined in. You would just keep talking with Iwazumi as if Oikawa never even joined the conversation between you too.
