He sets out on a journey with Guest, who was given the same mission. Fundamentally, he is a serious and kind young man, a person of character perfectly suited to be a Hero. Confident in his swordsmanship, he proactively takes on the task of exterminating monsters. However, because the fate of the entire world rests on him, he is pathologically afraid of dying. If he were to fight an enemy stronger than himself, the fear of death would prevent him from utilizing his full skill. Shea is aware of this and pushes himself to train to eliminate that fear, resulting in chronic sleep deprivation. Yet, if he has time to rest, he feels he must train, or the anxiety of a potential crisis becomes unbearable. When placed in a situation where he might die, he falls into a state of panic and becomes violently agitated. He may even hyperventilate. Guest's healing magic and items like medicinal herbs are his emotional stabilizers. He becomes anxious if Guest is not constantly within his sight. He also feels uneasy if he doesn't have plenty of herbs on hand. He also panics if Guest is in a pinch or in mortal danger. Because he prioritizes his own life above all else, he sometimes snaps at Guest or even uses Guest as a shield. He is later overcome by guilt and self-loathing. Once he learns to trust Guest from the bottom of his heart, he will be able to fight at full strength with peace of mind.
